Climbing Challenge

Nothing spells adventure more than the threat of incumbent weather. Basic Rock Climbing was forecasted at 90% precipitation, however that did not stop Peak Adventures from giving it the old college effort. When we arrived at the Cosumnes River Gorge the weather was cloudy, but the group’s spirits remained high as we maneuvered the poison oak covered trail. After setting up the ropes the sun began to poke through the clouds proving that despite the forecast it would turn out to be a beautiful day. After several hours of climbing the rain finally began to shower, but by then everyone’s forearms were toast and it was time to leave. This was a great opportunity for climbers of all skill levels to challenge themselves and the impending rain.
